Before Harvard Law School and Morehouse College, Darrell often says his first education was in the church.  As a young child, his mother would recite to him the old Hebrew proverb, "Your gift will make room for you and bring you before great men."

That gift, a peculiar way with words, was drawn on as early as seven years old, when Darrell was tapped to teach Sunday Bible classes for his children's church.  He officially began his public speaking career at 14 years old, when he was asked to give the commencement address at a local middle school.

After writing his first book at 18 years old, Darrell began sharing his story in different cities and regions.  Over the years, his exceptional persuasion and influencing instincts have manifested in a variety of ways: to audiences around the world as a professional speaker; in academia as a university professor; and in the corporate world in sales and business development.

This year, 2020, Darrell celebrates 20 years of encouraging people and empowering communities.  What gives Darrell the ability to connect with people of various cultures and backgrounds is a deep life experience and a willingness to embrace every part of his story to encourage, to inspire and to remind others of the immutable power of Grace, redemption and resilience.

Today, Darrell lives in New York City and is the managing partner of The B-Squared Global Group.
